A 5th generation San Franciscan, Lauren holds the unique distinction of standing by and understudying the widest known array of Broadway icons, including Tony winners Sutton Foster, Beth Leavel and Karen Ziemba, the legendary soprano Rebecca Luker, and most recently, the Tony nominated powerhouse Eden Espinosa.
On Broadway, Lauren originated the role of the Tsarina in Anastasia and was most recently seen in Lempicka, the musical biography about the life of Art Deco artist Tamara de Lempicka. Other Broadway credits include The Music Man, where Lauren had the privilege of stepping into the role of Marian Paroo, opposite Hugh Jackman. She was also seen on the 'worlds greatest stage', Radio City Musical Hall, playing Mrs. Claus in their annual Christmas Spectacular with the Radio City Rockettes.
Lauren toured the country as Irene Molloy with the 50th Anniversary Tour of Hello Dolly! starring Sally Struthers. A consummate triple threat, Lauren has played numerous leading ladies at cherished regional theaters across the country.
She can be seen on Great Performances 50th Anniversay Concert on PBS and heard on the original cast albums of Anastasia, Lempicka and Next Thing You Know - where Lauren originated the role of Lisa.
She resides in NYC with her pup Miss Banks (yes...from Mary Poppins) and adores most her role as Aunt Yaya.
